An intensive development brief, fitting 6 luxury townhouses onto a site made for only 2 in a suburban christchurch setting. These townhouses were a response to the need for medium density development, yet they facilitated this while improving the amenity of the area, and maximising benefit for the residents. Set behind a landscaped boundary, we orchestrated 6 modern houses into the site with private outdoor space, while pitched roofs and a subdued colour palette cement the development as appropriate to its suburban context.
